From slapping a fan to kissing Rakhi Sawant, here are Mika Singh's many controversies

Mika Singh is not new to controversy. In fact the Punjabi singer is famous is known for two things — his foot-tapping songs and his mind-boggling controversies.[caption id="attachment_2291408" align="alignleft" width="380"] Mika. IBNLive[/caption]On Thursday Mika was arrested for allegedly slapping a doctor at a live concert in Delhi. The video footage of the concert shows the singer hitting the fan who had gone up on stage as he was performing.Amid the tale of his arrest and bail in the 'slapgate' incident, here are the other controversies Mika has been involved in, thanks to his famed temper and impulsive actions.1. SlapgateThe incident took place in April 2015 at a concert organised by the Delhi Ophthalmological Society (DOS) as part of their three-day conference. During his performance, some of the audience was stage for an activity and during the activity something that the doctor did supposedly annoyed Mika who pulled him ahead and slapped him, as per the video of the incident posted online. The victim, Shrikant, an ophthalmologist posted at Ambedkar Hospital, had suffered some internal injury inside his left ear due to the assault. The Delhi Police had earlier registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against him, but he was given bail hours after his arrest.2. When he kissed Rakhi SawantBefore slapping, Mika was in controversy's eye for kissing. Back in 2006, Mika landed himself in trouble after kissing Bollywood item girl Rakhi Sawant. The incident saw Mika forcibly kiss Rakhi Sawant on her lips during his birthday bash. Rakhi was clearly not amused and filed a case of molestation against the singer. While Mika said that Rakh had kissed him first, prompting him to reply in kind, she said that he misbehaved with her.3. When he said Bipasha Basu kissed himSeems like Mika hasn't gotten enough of kisses from Bollywood's glamorous ladies as he claimed to have gotten a kiss from Bipasha Basu. While in Dubai for a special episode of TV show Comedy Nights with Kapil, Mika tweeted an image of the two of together with a lipstick mark on his cheek. Soon after seeing Mika’s tweet, Bipasha cleared the air over kiss connection after which Mika said that it wasn't Bipasha but Kapil’s dadi that kissed him, according to an APB  report.[caption id="attachment_2291402" align="aligncenter" width="825"] Screengrab from YouTube[/caption] 4. When he fought with singer Shaan on national television Mika and Shaan were both celebrity judges in the music reality show Music ka Maha Muqqabala and had clashed a number of times during the show over various contestants and performances. While these were tiffs that have become an everyday affair in reality shows, it also gave a glimpse in Mika's famed temper.
