Dodging the divorce question: Malaika Arora Khan stays quiet on status of marriage

In fact, when Malaika was asked point blank about the rumours at the ongoing Amazon India Fashion Week in New Delhi (she was at the event to walk the ramp for fashion designer Mandira Wirk) Malaika side-stepped the issue. “No personal questions please,” was Malaika’s dictum, reports The Times of India.Malaika instead ensured that the focus stayed on fashion, and on the collection she was the showstopper for. “I have come to Delhi after a long time, and it is only for Mandira that I came here for a day,” she said.The Indian Express reported that Malaika was the ideal choice for designer Mandira Wirk as, “The designs depict 18th century art and architecture and talk about curves and asymmetric designs”. “So who better than the curvaceous body of my friend Malaika (sic),” Wirk added.
