WATCH: IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in Lebanon in response to shooting in Israel

The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have said it attacked military targets of terror organisation Hezbollah in the border area with Lebanon.Sharing drone footage of the attack, the Israeli military said among the targets was an military observation post from which a guided anti-tank missile was fired toward the northern town of Rosh Hanikra on Wednesday.The IDF added that the strikes were carried out in response to shooting incidents at Israel over the past day.The attack also came hours after Lebanese Hezbollah terror group claimed responsibility for attacking a number of Israeli military posts on the northern border.As per the inputs by the IDF, nine rockets were launched from Lebanon, setting off sirens in Kiryat Shmona and several communities in the neighbourhood. The Israeli military said four were intercepted by the Iron Dome air defense system.However, a rocket landed in the northern city, but caused no injury or damage.Moments before the rocket sirens, the IDF said one of its tanks shelled two anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launch positions in southern Lebanon, where the military identified an attempt to carry out an attack.A third ATGM launch site was struck following a missile attack on the northern town of Metula.Later on Wednesday, the IDF informed that it had carried out a drone strike against a terror cell launching mortars from Lebanon at the Malkia area on the border.It is worth mentioning that the Israel-Hamas war has entered its thirteenth day on Thursday and the West Asian country's northern border has been witnessing a lot of action.With inputs from agencies
