Both officials spoke on condition of anonymity as they were not authorised to brief the media.No one claimed responsibility for the attack in a mainly Shiite area of the city. But it bore the hallmarks of the Islamic State extremist group, which controls a third of Iraq and Syria and frequently launches attacks targeting Iraq's majority Shiites.Associated Press
