A 14-year-old girl in Pakistan reportedly killed her father on Saturday, accusing him of sexually assaulting her for the past three months in the Punjab province. The tragic incident occurred in Lahore's Gujjarpura area.In her statement to the police, the girl explained that she had endured ongoing abuse from her father for three months. Feeling trapped and desperate, she made the harrowing decision to end her suffering by fatally shooting her father with his own firearm.The girl's father lost his life immediately as a result of the shooting. Officer Kazmi has affirmed that a comprehensive investigation will be conducted before any charges are filed against the suspect.This incident has garnered significant attention, particularly following a recent ruling by a Pakistani court. Just a day prior, the Gender-Based Violence Court in Lahore, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Mian Shahid Javed, had sentenced a man named M. Rafique to death for the sexual assault of his underage daughter.
