Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah Ranjay was given a state funeral at his native village Oora in Pakistan on Thursday.

PTI[/caption]Sanaullah's body was flown from Chandigarh by a special aircraft and landed at Sialkot airport at around 6. 30 pm.The newspaper quotes District Coordination Officer Mohammad Shakeel saying Sanaullah's body was taken to Allama Iqbal Memorial hospital where a board of senior doctors carried out a post mortem.Sanaullah, who had been hospitalised at Chandigarh’s PGIMER hospital after being attacked in Jammu’s Kot Bhalwal jail on 3 May, died on Thursday morning following multiple organ failure, doctors said.Sanaullah was arrested in 1996 and charged with involvement in a bomb blast at Katra near the Hindu shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in 1994 that killed 10 people. He was serving a life term in the Jammu jail.Pakistan officials have asked for an international probe into the 'extra-judicial murder' of Sanaullah, but India has side-stepped the demand."I cannot comment on this now as no demand has come to us till now.
