Pak to execute another death row convict on Saturday

Lahori, who is locked up in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat prison, is a member of banned militant outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi, The News International reported.Though he was to be executed on 8 January, 2015, the process was put on hold as a "compromise agreement" was reached between his and the victim's family. However, an anti-terrorism court in Faisalabad, on 12 January, declared the "compromise agreement" null and void as it failed to meet certain legal requirements and re-issued the black warrant as the plaintiff did not reach the court to record his statement.IANS
