Kabul: Several oil tankers caught fire and were reduced to ashes as three rockets fired by militants slammed into a parking lot in the western part of Afghanistan's capital Kabul, drivers at the site said.[caption id="attachment_1229805" align="alignleft" width="380"]Representational image. Reuters Representational image (Courtesy: Reuters)[/caption]"It was 11 p.m. Friday night when three rockets hit the parking lot in Arghandi area on the outskirts of Kabul city burning several oil tankers," Tawab Khan, a driver, told Xinhua at the site of the incident."Two of my own oil tankers have burned to ashes and I have lost whatever I had in my life," Khan added.Another dejected driver who declined to be named said his oil tanker was devoured in the fire.Fire fighters were able to extinguish the fire by 6 a.m. Saturday.Taliban militants fighting the government to regain power have claimed responsibility for the attack, saying scores of oil tankers that were supplying fuel to the NATO-led forces have been burned to ashes in the attack.
