Iran supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei undergoes prostate operation
The country's official news agency, IRNA, described the operation which took place this morning as "routine" and said it was successful.

There is nothing to worry about," Khamenei was quoted as saying by Irna."This does not mean that people are not praying ... but it is a normal operation."Aged 75, Khamenei has led Iran for 25 years, replacing Ruhollah Khomeini, who founded the Islamic Republic of Iran.AFP
