First we had Internet sleuths on Reddit and 4Chan trying to find the Boston marathon bombers. Now Facebook has a new group which insists that the sole Boston bombing accused to be caught alive, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is innocent. One of the groups which is called Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is innocent is a closed one and has 11,672 members. The group in its description says Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his brother have been accused by the Boston Police Department of placing two bombs at the Boston Marathon on Apribl (sic) 15, 2013 and we at AXJ BOSTON are not convinced they did it.We truly believe he has been set up and that there is not enough evidence to incriminate him.[caption id="attachment_721763" align="alignleft" width="380"]Image via Facebook group Image via Facebook group[/caption]According to this article on Daily Mail, the group has claimed that neither Tsarnaev brother was responsible for the Boston bombing. Instead, they say, a government-funded group of mercenaries from a private company staged the event and framed the Chechen pair. The group also insists that the older brother Tamerlane was alive and arrested by the police, and he was not killed in a bloody battle. In fact the group has also shared pictures of a man with a black backpack that later exploded, who is running away from the site of the blasts. There is another open group on Facebook which is also called Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is Innocent but until proven Guilty! This group has posted several of the Boston bombings, including those that were shared on Reddit, and one image of Dzhokar from his prom.
