Dollar slips ahead of US election results

The dollar fell to 0.9428 Swiss franc from 0.9435 Swiss franc and to 99.30 Canadian cents from 99.68 Canadian cents.

New York: The dollar is falling slightly against other major currencies as traders await results from the US presidential election, which is expected to be a tight race.[caption id="attachment_517056" align="alignleft" width="380"] Shrinking dollar. Reuters[/caption]

The euro rose to $1.2816 from $1.2792 late Monday. The British pound rose to $1.5994 from $1.5972.

The dollar fell to 0.9428 Swiss franc from 0.9435 Swiss franc and to 99.30 Canadian cents from 99.68 Canadian cents.

The dollar rose to 80.34 Japanese yen from 80.26 Japanese yen.
