Israel embassy in India on Monday hailed 32 years of diplomatic relations between the Jewish state and India and invoked a famous Bollywood song 'तेरे जैसा यार कहाँ, कहां ऐसा याराना.' 🇮🇳🇮🇱 to mark the deep bonds of friendship.Taking to X, the embassy said, "Today, as we celebrate 32 years of diplomatic relations between #India and #Israel, we are reminded of the timeless words, 'तेरे जैसा यार कहाँ, कहां ऐसा याराना.' 🇮🇳🇮🇱.""The deep bonds of friendship and cooperation between our nations have flourished across diverse fields including agriculture, water management, defense, security, innovation, and beyond. Here's to years of mutual respect, support, and growth," added the post.India announced its recognition of Israel on September 17, 1950. Soon after, the Jewish state established an immigration office in Bombay (Mumbai). This was later converted into a Trade Office and subsequently a Consulate.Regular Embassies were opened in 1992 when full diplomatic relations were established between the two countries.With inputs from agencies
