Yu Yureka Black to go official today, here is what we know

Micromax's subsidiary brand Yu Televentures, will be making a comeback to the market today as it is all set to launch a brand new smartphone. The company has been teasing the new handset on its official Twitter account which will be called the Yu Yureka Black.Now by its name one would assume that it is just a black color variant of the company's debut smartphone, however the company clarified that it will be a brand new device with new internals, and it makes sense.The original Yu Yureka was launched at the end of 2014, and it seems like the company is seeking to launch a revamped version. For now, judging by the teasers, we know that the handset will have a metal body which will of course be all black. We also see a glimpse of the primary camera with a dual-LED flash.https://twitter.com/YUplaygod/status/862957923147722752The smartphone will also be exclusively available on Flipkart and could go on sale today itself.The original Yu Yureka was launched with a 5.5-inch 720p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 system on chip with an octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and the Adreno 405 GPU clocked at 550 MHz. It came with 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and offers 16 GB of storage which could be expanded via the microSD card slot by 32 GB. The handset arrived with an official version of Cyanogenmod 12 and later saw a refresh version in the form of Yureka Plus which has a better resolution display.The last two handsets under the Yu branding were the Yunique Plus and Yureka S both of which launched last year in August.
