More details have emerged on YouTube's ad-free subscription service. A new report indicates that the service has no deals with TV Networks whatsoever.According to Bloomberg, people familiar with the matter have stated that YouTube has no deals with networks such as Fox, NBC and CBS. According to a statement provided by YouTube, "We are progressing according to plan. We have support from the overwhelming majority of our partners, with well over 90 percent of YouTube watch time covered by agreements, and more in the pipeline about to close."YouTube still has time to sign up TV networks as it aims to roll out the service by end of the year. Apparently, some companies such as Fox and NBC Universal are reportedly 'reluctant' to make their shows a part of the paid service as they perceive the service as a 'promotional outlet'.Google had previously stated that YouTube had advised partners like top draw PewDiePie that their clips will not be allowed to remain on the public, ad-supported YouTube if they don’t sign up for the commercial-free subscription version.
