The YouTube app for iOS has got a new update. The app will now allow live streaming, while users will also be able to queue up videos to play on television. The update also promises quick access to new uploads via subscriptionsfrom the My Subscriptions feed on the Guide.
The new Live feed option on the app means that you will soon be able to watch IPL Games, Live Sports events etc from iPhone or iPad itself. This is a great feature as it bringing live television on YouTube on mobile devices which are gaining more and more popularity.

The Send to TV functionality, allows users to connect their devices to their Google TV units or gaming consoles via the YouTube apps. Users can send videos from iPads, iPods and iPhones to their smart television. After they have paired the iOS device with their tv or game console, users can decide what they want to watch first from the iOS device itself.
