Now, you can upload your grandma's birthday video, post it on Yahoo! Video and share it with... well, whoever wants to watch your grandma's birthday video. Yahoo! Video has been updated to challenge YouTube and Google Video. Yahoo has reprogrammed its video service to store homemade videos on its own site for the first time.Yahoo! Video will allow users to rate content and tag it with labels, create favorites lists and share them with other users. Moreover, the new service will also offer media clips from its partners, HBO, Viacom and Warner bros. Yahoo! Video Content can also be shared via Yahoo! Mail and Yahoo! Messenger programs and videos can played from inside users' own personal web pages.In addition, Yahoo! Video comes fully loaded with interesting features for amateur film makers. One can create categories and channels, manage videos and update channels, bookmark videos and export them as media RSS feeds.Jason Zajac, General Manager of Social Media for Yahoo!, said, “As the video space continues to emerge, our strengths in search, content, personalization and community make it possible for Yahoo! to offer a highly engaging video experience for both users and publishers.”
