In the meantime, here are some of the highlights of the new tablet. The Play Tegra Note is powered by a 1.8GHz Nvidia Tegra 4 Cortex A15 processor. Take a quick look at some of its specifications:
  • 7-inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels of resolution
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth v4.0
  • GPS
  • 5-megapixel rear camera, 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 16GB onboard storage, expandable via microSD card slot

One of the key highlights of Nvidia’s Tegra Note platform is the DirectStylus technology that can significantly enhance passive stylus performance. So, one can expect a responsive stylus and a slew of apps to take advantage of it. Reportedly, even the top portion of the stylus is touch sensitive and can be used as a brush, and also acts as an eraser when aligned in line with the screen. Removing the DirectStylus from its holding compartment activates the stylus-related apps.
