Xiaomi Riva Geekbench ratings surface online, Redmi Pro 2 with dual-camera may release in July
Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi, is purported to be working on a new smartphone dubbed as ‘Riva’. The Redmi Pro 2 may feature dual cameras.
Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi, is said to be working on a new smartphone dubbed as ‘Riva’. However, benchmarks show that the 'Riva' will be sporting entry level specs and nothing more.Geekbench ratings put the phone at a score of 560 for single-core and 916 for multi-core. The Xiaomi Riva is tipped to sport a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm SoC coupled with 3 GB of RAM and that it will have the latest Android 7.1.1 setting. The low score on Geekbench does suggest that the phone may be in the low price range market. That is pretty much all that is speculated right now about the 'Riva'. Erstwhile, Xiaomi are set to take the wraps off a number of smartphones this year, starting with the Redmi Pro 2. The latest leak reported last week suggested that the rear camera will be 12 MP instead and a 5 MP secondary sensor next to it in a dual camera setup. The phone may have a tentative release of July this year.
These leaks come after Xiaomi had announced that it has generated Rs 5 crore worth of sales revenue from the sales of its products via its recently launched Mi Home Store in Bengaluru on 20 May. Xiaomi claimed that the store saw Rs 5 crore in sales revenue in just 12 hours of sales post launch.
