Xiaomi Redmi 4 to be unveiled on 4 November

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is expected announce its new budget smartphone the Redmi 4 on 4 November. The smartphone was recently leaked via the Chinese telecommunications certification authority Tenaa.We now have confirmation that the company will be announcing it at an event on 4 November. Xiaomi's Redmi channel released a teaser image in a post on Weibo which includes the launch event details. A second variant called the Redmi 4A is also expected to be announced.
The teaser image doesn’t say much but we can clearly see a metal frame along with the display nicely curved at the edges so probably a 2.5D curved glass.For now, thanks to a bunch of leaks, we know that the Redmi 4 will come with a full metal body, a 5-inch full HD LCD display, a Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 1.4GHz octa-core with 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP primary camera, 5MP front camera and a 4,100mAH battery.The Redmi 4A could feature 2GB of RAM, a 5-inch 720p LCD panel, Snapdragon 425 chipset with 16GB of inbuilt storage that's expandable via microSD card. It will feature the same camera combo but a smaller 3030mAh battery. The handset could arrive in two colour options, gold and rose gold.
