Xiaomi Redmi 1S is now available on Flipkart, without registration

Fans can take it easy now! If you want to own a Xiaomi Redmi 1S, you don't need to register anymore.Xiaomi, the third largest smartphone maker after Apple and Samsung, is having an open sale on Flipkart which started earlier today at 6AM. Unlike other sales, users can directly log in to the website and purchase the smartphone.Xiaomi has not announced the number of units which will be available for sale. The handsets can be bought until stocks last.The smartphone features a 4.7-inch 720p HD IPS display, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera, 8GB of internal storage and Android 4.3 with MIUI v5. The phone is packed with 2000 mAH battery. It also includes dual-SIM support and 3G connectivity. Xiaomi Redmi 1S is priced at Rs 5,999Starting from today, the e-commerce site’s Big App Sale will begin which will offer heavy discounts to those who shop using its mobile apps.The second sale of the Xiaomi Redmi Note will take place tomorrow. Earlier reports suggest that 50,000 Xiaomi Redmi Note units went ‘out of stock’ in six seconds during the first sale.The 3G dual-SIM variant of the Redmi Note is now available and priced at Rs 8,999. The 4G variant priced at Rs 9,999 is expected to be available from mid-December.
