Xiaomi Mi Note 3 announced: Features 6 GB RAM, Snapdragon 660, dual 12 MP cameras and more

From a design standpoint the Mi Note 3 looks identical to the Mi 6 flagship from Xiaomi.

Alongside the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and the Mi Notebook Pro, the Chinese device maker also announced a second smartphone called the Mi Note 3. The Mi Note 3 is a mid-range offering from Xiaomi and is basically the successor to the Mi Note 2 launched last year.[caption id="attachment_4031603" align="alignleft" width="380"]The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 in blue The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 in blue[/caption]The Mi Note 3 will be available in two finishes and 2 storage options. A 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage forms the base version and will be available in the black finish at RMB 2,499 (roughly Rs 24,000). The next option packs in 6 GB RAM and 128 GB  of internal storage and will be available in both blue and black at RMB 2,899 (roughly Rs 28,000) and RMB 2,999 (roughly Rs 30,000) respectively.From a design standpoint the Mi Note 3 looks identical to the Mi 6 flagship from Xiaomi. There's 3D curved edges not just at the sides, but at the top and the bottom edges of the glass screens as well.You can think of it as a larger Mi 6 but with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset inside. That powerful mid-range chipset is coupled with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of storage.Coming to the cameras there is a dual camera setup with two 12 MP camera on the rear, with one camera offering a 12 MP + wide angle lens and the second a 12 MP telephoto giving up to 2X optical zoom. The device is powered by a 3,500 mAh battery that supports Quick Charging 3.0.
