Xiaomi Mi Mousepad, Mi Metal Mousepad enter the Indian market

The onslaught of newer products continue as Xiaomi now announces the Mi Mousepad and Mi Metal Mousepad in India. Priced at Rs 269 and Rs 649 respectively, both are now available for purchase on Mi India store.[caption id="attachment_274832" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Mi Metal Mousepad[/caption]The Xiaomi Mi Mousepad comes dipped in black with a rubber backing. The back is built of 'non-slip rubber' material that will ensure the mousepad doesn't slide around, claims the company. The mousepad measures 80cm in length and 40cm wide. Xiaomi says it is 'great for precise movement and positioning'.The next is the Mi Metal Mousepad, that ditches rubber for an aluminium design. Xiaomi says it has been crafted using a 5-step process including punch-pressing, sandblasting, oxidation, polishing, and laser-cutting. The pad also goes through thorough tests to ensure durability and is resistant to corrosion. The metal mousepad measures 330 x 240 x 3mm.Xiaomi is all set to complete one year in India and has already started gearing up for the celebrations. In order to celebrate the occasion, the company has put out a cryptic teaser promising something new and lots of offers for the Indian users.
