Xiaomi launches Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2; priced at a Diwali special price of Rs 1,799

Chinese smartphone and electronics maker Xiaomi has launched Mi Bluetooth Speaker Basic 2. The company has launched the device at a price of Rs. 2,600. However, considering the festival seasonthe company is selling the speaker at Rs 1,799 at its online Mi Store as a part of the Diwali sale. It comes with an internal microphone for noise cancellation. The power button can be pressed to turn on the speaker, as well as answer calls.Fitted inside a matte aluminium frame, this Bluetooth speaker promises 10 hours of playback. Comprised of a dual speaker unit, this one is supposed to give a high fidelity sound.Weighing around 200 grams, this portable speaker is powered with 1,200 mAh battery.The speaker has a power button and a dedicated button for adjusting the volume. It also has a dedicated Aux cable input.Currently it shows one variant which is a white in colour.According to previous reports, Xiaomi had introduced a Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini, which had a metal housing and features Bluetooth 4.0 technology for a stable and energy-efficient connection. With a battery life of four hours, Mi Bluetooth Speaker Mini was in grey and gold colour variants.
