Xbox Live 'Ultimate Game Sale' to include Crysis 3 and Assassin’s Creed III

Xbox users are in for some good news as Major Nelson has revealed that Microsoft will kickstart its week long “Ultimate game sale” from next week. This sale would mean that many famous gaming titles and their new updates, available on the console, could come at a discounted rate.

The blog stated that the game sale will happen on the Xbox market place, a virtual market designed for Xbox 360 console that allows Xbox Live members to download purchased or promotional content. Though the list of games available during the sale is out, which game will be available at what time and at what cost is still unknown. Larry Hryb, the blogger who is also a member of the Xbox team, has assured that he would tweet the information when it is available.

The list includes many games that received a huge response after their launch. This includes the likes of Assassin’s Creed III, Max Payne 3, Tomb Raider and Crysis 3. The action adventure game Assassin’s Creed III, which was launched in October, 2012, is the fifth major instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series. The game, which sold almost 12 million copies, is set in an open world scenario and is played from the third-person perspective with the primary aim of eliminating the targets using Desmond and Connor's combat and stealth abilities.

The sale will also include the first-person shooter game Crysis 3. The game, released earlier this year, is the third instalment in the Crysis series. The latest instalment is developed on the same lines as the other games in the series. It allows the players to use weapon customisation and manipulate special abilities to approach and defeat the enemies.
