WordPress for iOS Gets Major Revamp

Fixes 31 different bugs which caused 75% of all crashes.

If you're one of those frustrated WordPress on iOS users, Automattic has fixed many of the app's issues in its latest update. The new version, WordPress 2,8 has fixed 31 bugs which were responsible for 75% of all crashes. Issues with external keyboards and adding categories on the iPad are now fixed.

The update also brings with it, two new features in the app. One of them is a Quick Photo button, which lets you take a photo, write a blog around it and publish. This feature is only available on iOS so far.

The other big feature is the addition of Stats. The feature allows you to see daily, weekly and monthly pageviews as well as top referrers and post views.

Also, Automattic said that they've increased WordPress for iOS support for 10 languages including Croatian, Dutch, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.

Hopefully with these bug fixes, the app's stability improves and it doesn't retain its notoreity for constantly crashing.
