Windows 8 early adoption update to cost Rs. 800

The early adoption update of Windows 8 allows new Windows 7 PC users to upgrade to Windows 8 Pro starting June 2, 2012 for $15 which is approximately   837, confirms Microsoft. The upgrade period begins this Saturday and runs all through January 31 next year. However, those users who’ve bought the Windows 7 PC before June 2 cannot grab their copy for the said price. The Windows 8 hardware requirement wouldn’t require Windows 7 users to upgrade their hardware. Here’s the hard ware requirement – 1GHz processor or above, 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit) RAM, 16GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) drive space and Microsoft DirectX 9 compatible device video card. This piece of news puts an end to all the speculation about the price of Windows 8 upgrade or if Windows 8 upgrade will be made available for free for new Windows 7 users.
