Windows 7 can now be installed on an Android Wear smartwatch

While there are many crazy things that you can do with an Android Wear smartwatch, including playing Counter Strike on a ridiculously small screen, or even running emulators on them, there is now another strange thing that you can also pull off, provided you are into it.We are talking about running a 'Lite' version of Microsoft's Windows 7 on an Android Wear smartwatch. While there is no reason why one would want to do the same (more so because of the painstakingly long boot timings), a YouTube user going by the name of Hacking Jules managed to do just that. Before you ask us why? Well, it's simply because he like every other tweaker out there. To get the smartwatch to boot to Windows 7 there are a couple of requirements as Jules explains. Firstly, one would need an Android Wear-based smartwatch, a desktop with ADB drivers. You will also need the Android Debug Bridge turned on as well. Also needed is knowledge in DOS and ADB commands.Going forward Jules explains in depth (along with some fast forward moments) in his video how to get you smartwatch to run a desktop OS.Indeed it would have also been interesting to see how an input device could work when connected to such a system. But for now, its best we give the idea a break as Windows 7 on a miniscule screen  clearly seems to have have no known practical benefits just yet.
