White Nexus 4 spotted, could be unveiled at Google I/O

The Nexus 4 could soon have a twin. Leaked images show the Google flagship smartphone in white. While images of the white Nexus 4 have been doing the round since January, this time the piece landed up in the hands of Google+ user Ervin Sue, who alleged that he bought it off a website.

The new scheme seen isn’t a pure white one, though. The phone now comes in a two-tone finish, with the front being left the same in a black finish. The same neat glass design with a reflective patterned back now comes in white. Here, the patented “crystal reflection” design that LG boasts serves its purpose well, with the phone looking very distinctive. It would have made sense for the company to include the latest upgrades, say, the modern Snapdragon 600 or even 4G LTE.

This is not the first time the company has touched up this particular phone. Since its launch in November last year, the phone has been revamped and a 32GB LTE Nexus 4 could also be unveiled at Google I/O. These were specifications that the phone had been heavily criticised for not having. Changes may also be seen in the OS, with Android 4.3 likely to take over from the older 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

With this version as well as the white Nexus 4 both speculated to be unveiled at the Google I/O, it looks like the event is going to have more than its share of gizmos to look forward to.
