Watch out, Gear! Moto 360 reportedly coming to India soon at a competitive price
Motorola seems to be on a roll. After the successful Moto G and head-turning Moto E, the company is all set to bring its smartwatch – Moto 360 – to the Indian market soon. The Moto 360 running Google’s Android Wear is slated to launch in India soon, Punit Soni, VP, Product management, Motorola Mobility told IBNLive. However, he didn’t disclose a specific time frame or date. He said the device would reach Indian markets relatively sooner, when the news site probed further about a possible launch in the next two months. “He neither replied in affirmative nor did he deny. He instead smiled and reiterated, "it is going to come relatively soon," which is an indication that the watch could hit the Indian shores in the next two months,” reports IBNLive. The Moto 360 will feature a more classic round look, which why it’s called “360”. Moreover, all the Moto 360 components are said to be brand new. Watches running on the Android Wear platform are expected to come with support for voice commands, alerts, directions, and notifications. Take a closer look at the Moto 360. The Moto E has already started grabbing eye-balls for its specs and price, and the Moto 360 could possibly follow suit. Soni said that the pricing would be highly competitive in India, and in line with the Nexus strategy. Looking at the trio of Moto device available in India – Moto X, G, E – our expectations from the company have increased manifold. We wouldn't be surprised if the Moto 360 is also a Flipkart-exclusive. In fact, Soni disclosed that the company hasn't chalked out any other distribution model for India yet.
