We unbox the 7-inch Samsung Tab 3 T211 and give you a quick tour of the Tab 2's successor.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T211 has finally come in our labs and we couldn’t wait to get out hands on the tablet. So we went ahead and did a quick unboxing of the device. Here’s the video:
Just to recap, the Galaxy Tab 3 T211 comes with a 7-inch WSVGA display and a resolution of 1024 x 600. This amounts to a pixel density of 168 ppi. Samsung has said that the tablet has a one-hand grip form factor which should allowing users to hold it comfortably for hours.

The new Samsung tablet comes with slightly better specifications than its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3100, launched in India last year. The older tablet came with Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) as well as a 1GHz dual-core processor. The Tab 2 sported a 7-inch PLS LCD display and was slightly thicker and heavier. The earlier version also came with a 3-megapixel shooter that supported video recording capabilities at an HD resolution of 720p.
The new tablet, in comparison, comes an upgraded 1.3-megapixel front shooter. In terms of connectivity, the Tab 3 supports 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4 + 5GHz, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 T211 8GB variant retails at of Rs 18,900 but you can find it for slightly less on online stores. Stay tuned for the full review coming up soon.
