UK University Offers Course In Computer Hacking

Then you might want to enroll at the ‘Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures' course at The University of Abertay, UK. The university will enroll 30 students for the undergraduate course as part of the Bachelor of Science degree, starting from the next academic year.Abertay's head of computing and creative technologies, Lachlan MacKinnon said, “We will be monitoring the students very closely because we want them to come out the other end as ethical hackers.” Although MacKinnon had to overcome skeptics, he insisted that teaching the course is a matter of software expertise and good security practice.However, critics have pointed out that ethical hacking requires rare aptitude and real world experience as opposed to bookish knowledge. Staff at the university are confident the course will be useful for the system.
