Two new Nokia smartphones show up in TOI app stats

Nokia is yet to launch the Lumia 800 and 710 handsets in India, but rumours of their next flagship handset, the Nokia Lumia 900 are already popping up. This is not the first time we have heard about the Lumia 900, back in mid-November a promo video popped up displaying Nokia’s next flagship handset. Shortly after the video was released, it had gone private, which indicates that it definitely may have been true. Now according to a report by WMPoweruser, the smartphone has surfaced again, this time in the statistics of a Windows Phone app of the Times of India.

The report also states that along with the Lumia 900, a smartphone named Nokia Champagne has also showed up in the stats. Apart from the two handsets, a new build of WP7 called Tango has also shown up in another stat of the app. The version number of the build is WP - 7.10.8725, with WP-7.1 being the codename for Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is said to feature a 1.4GHz single-core processor with a MSM8255T chipset and an Adreno 205 GPU. Here is a look at the other rumoured specifications for the upcoming smartphone:

As of now, there is no word of the global availability of this handset, but it is expected to be released in the U.S during the first quarter of 2012.
