Famous for their memory products, Transcend has now entered the SSD market with two new 2.5-inch drives with speeds up to 250MB/s. The SSD’s will be available in two capacities, 120GB and 250GB. All set to conquer the SSD market
The drives use a DRAM buffer which allows them to achieve read speeds of up to 230MB/s and write speeds up to 180MB/s. It also consumes lower power since there are no moving parts and is more durable as well. Here are some of the highlights of the new drive:
