Top reviews this week: Sony Xperia Z Ultra, Tekfusion Twinwoofers M and more!

We've been quite busy this week, as you can see, with some rather big devices making their way to our test labs. This week, we took a look at the Dell Inspiron One 2020, Tekfusion's Twinwoofers M, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Palit's take on the GeForce GTX 770. Check out our top reviews this week:

Dell Inspiron One 2020 (Touch) Review (6/10)

The Dell Inspiron 2020 AIO comes at a price tag of Rs 45,090 which we feel is a lot to pay for something that is pretty basic. The non-touchscreen model which sells for Rs 36,090 offers a comparatively better price proposition, as let's face it - there’s only so much you can do with a touchscreen on your 20-inch monitor before uneasiness settles in. The system specs are ideal for a home or small office setup where space is at a premium.

Tekfusion Twinwoofers M Review (6.5/10)

The Twinwoofers M are available for a street price of Rs 2,100 (Rs 3,399 MRP), which is little expensive given the performance isn’t really up to the mark. While the bundle and packaging is top notch, we felt the cables of the earphones were too frail and a slight snag could cause some serious damage. It’s also very bass heavy, with a tendency to overpower the softer and finer tones in your music.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra Review (6.5/10)

The Z Ultra is simply too unwieldy to be used as a primary phone. The camera quality is strictly average and the loud speaker is anything but that. And for this price, we expected at least 32GB of onboard memory. It does have an excellent display, however, and one of the fastest chipsets ever fitted to a phone, which makes it great for entertainment and gaming. If the two above mentioned points are your main criteria, then nothing beats the Z Ultra.

The Palit JetStream GTX 770

Palit GeForce GTX 770 Review (7/10)

At an MOP of Rs 35,000, it is still around Rs 3,000 higher than the ZOTAC GTX 770 AMP Edition card, which is a slightly better performer. The only advantage the Palit card has is its cooler operating temperatures and lower noise levels as compared to the ZOTAC GTX 770. The load temperature was under 75 degrees C and the fan noise was minimal while on load. As compared to the GTX 680, you get around 10 to 15 percent improvement. So if low noise levels and cool operating temperatures is what you are after, you can consider paying a premium for this, otherwise opt for the ZOTAC card.
