THQ to Publish Sopranos Game

Ok, movie to game is one thing, but TV serial to game is really pushing the envelope. First we hear about the Lost game, then the Desperate Housewives game (... must control urge to throw up) and now we have word that THQ is developing a game that's based on the mob drama, The Sopranos.The Sopranos game will be developed by 7 Studios (Fantastic Four) and will include the likeness and voice of James Gandolfini (who plays Tony Soprano) and the rest of the Sopranos cast. Here's a bit from THQ's press release:

"A mob war is brewing as Philadelphia's and New Jersey's most powerful families are about to collide. As the illegitimate son of "Big Pussy," you have been born into the organization and are now being given an opportunity to demonstrate your loyalty to Tony Soprano. As a soldier you must earn money on collections, protect your turf through intimidation, and gain admiration within your own family to move up in the ranks of the organization."

Is it just me or does the game sound like the other mob game; what's it called? Ah!... the Godfather!
