The Moto E4 Plus will launch in India at 12 pm on 12 July as a Flipkart-exclusive; price unknown

We now have confirmation that the Moto E4 Plus will launch as a Flipkart-exclusive at 12.00 pm on 12 July. Flipkart confirmed this with a teaser on its site.As reported earlier, the phone features a 5.5-inch HD display (1280×720) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It’s powered by a Mediatek MT6737 chip that features 4x ARM Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. You get 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable to 128 GB via microSD), a 13 MP f/2.0 rear camera and a 5 MP f/2.2 front camera. Connectivity options include the usual assortment of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and other options. You do get an FM Radio. The USB interface is microUSB 2.0.While we would indeed have preferred to see s Snapdragon chipset at this price, but the almost stock version of Android that Motorola prefers might make up for it.You also get a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging. The device also supports Dolby Atmos over headphones.The price of the Moto E4 Plus is not known at this time, though it did launch in the US at $180. Going with the obsession with the number 12, we’re guessing that the price will also be around Rs 12,000.The smaller version of the E4 Plus, the E4, was recently launched in India at Rs 8,999.
