TGS 2008: Halo: Recon Details Emerge
Halo: Recon details emerge from TGS 2008. We have the lowdown for you.

Yesterday at the Tokyo Game Show 2008, Bungie introduced a brand new standalone expansion called Halo: Recon that’ll take place in the Halo universe and will introduce a "new hero" in the form of an unknown UNSC soldier. Today some juicy tidbits have emerged from TGS and we’re bringing it to you in an orderly point fashion because we’re nice like that:
- Is a First Person Shooter contrary to rumors that it would be a third person game stealth game.
- Players will have to approach situations a bit carefully this time round since they’re not a badass Spartan anymore.
- Master Chief will remain absent throughout the game.
- Campaign mode will offer four player Co-op
- Recon will bestow players with 1,000 achievement points
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
