TGS 2008: Halo: Recon Announced
Move over Master Chief, there's a new hero in town.
At the ongoing Tokyo Game Show 2008 being held in Tokyo (duh!), Microsoft announced Halo: Recon, a standalone expansion pack to Halo 3. Recon serves as a prequel to Halo 3 and puts players in the boots of an unknown UNSC Recon soldier who’s apparently being billed as a "new hero" for the new storyline.
Recon will ship exclusively for the Xbox360 in 2009 and will feature a brand new single player campaign in addition to new multiplayer modes, the details of which aren’t known yet.

He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office.
