Temple Run now available for Nokia Lumia 520, 620 and 720

Popular endless running game Temple Run has been available for Windows Phone 8 devices for quite some time now; however, it was only available to devices that had 1GB of RAM. Microsoft and Nokia seem to have fixed that, as the game is now available for WP8 devices running on 512MB of RAM.

Temple Run for all Windows Phone 8 devices

The RAM restriction on the game, while now a thing of the past, has undoubtedly angered many fans that were hoping to play it on their lower-end Windows Phone 8 devices such as the Nokia Lumia 720.

Temple Run was originally launched for Windows Phone 8 back in March. The sequel to the popular running game launched on Android and iOS this year. It added new gameplay mechanics to the original, such as the zipline, mine carts and a power meter. The visual design of the game also got a considerable upgrade. Temple Run 2 takes place in a floating temple in the clouds, as opposed to the dark swamp-like jungle of the first game. There are also things to unlock, such as new characters that have their own specialised powers.

However, Temple Run 2 is not yet available for Windows Phone 8 devices. For Temple Run on WP8, you need certain permissions, including phone identity, media playback, data services, movement and directional sensor and either an HD, WVGA or WXGA resolution display.
