Telegram update brings public groups, pinned posts, and 5000 member supergroups

Indeed, the next best messenger after WhatsApp and Facebook's very own Messenger is Telegram. In fact, the only thing holding back Telegram is WhatsApp and its massive user base that keeps growing despite the company's inability to add something fresh or new (even once a year). Telegram, on the other hand, has been getting plenty of updates and today's update adds plenty more, including the ability to increase the supergroup member limit to 5000.If you are Telegram user, you will know that it offers the best features around. The group limit for its supergroups that was earlier set to 1000 members, has now been raised 5000 members. Additionally, supergroups can now pin messages at the top of the chat screen making it easier for members to keep up with what is new.Supergroups can now also be public and their URLs can be shared as well, a feature that should work well with businesses. Moreover, admins now have more control with the ability to delete particular a user's message, ban the user, report him/her as spam or just delete all of that particular user's messages altogether.For the now the update is being rolled out only to Europe and the Americas via the Google Play Store, but will be coming to countries in Asia as well.
