Midway's tribute to John Woo and his most excellent Chow Yun Fat flick, Hard Boiled has now officially been pushed back to 2007. The game was to be one of the PS3's launch titles and it was one of the games I was most kicked about, besides Motorstorm that is. In case you're wondering what Hard Boiled (no we're not talking about eggs here) and Stranglehold are, kindly jump out of your window, land on your face, crawl back to your PC and read this:
Chow Yun-Fat reprises the role of Inspector Tequila from John Woo's influential action film, "Hard Boiled" in this hyperkinetic shooting game. Run into danger with both fists full of lead and take down the organized crime bosses who stepped over the line when they took your family. Stop at nothing as you destroy the entire world around you to get them back. You are a desperate man following your own rules; honor thy family; do what's right; fear no man. Stranglehold features much of the hyperkinetic, choreographed action and freeze framed sequences that Woo is known for.
Stranglehold will be available for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2007. stranglehold.jpg

Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
