ITDC has tied up with the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) to provide customised e-ticketing solutions to defence personnels.

State-run ITDC on 12 October said it has tied up with the Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA) to provide customised e-ticketing solutions to defence personnels across the country.

The CGDA, which operates under the Defence Ministry, heads the Defence Accounts Department (DAD). It is the cadre controlling authority of the Indian defence accounts service.
Under this pact, ITDCs travel wing Ashok Travels and Tours will conduct the procedure for CGDA to create an e- ticketing platform for smooth functioning of air travel needs, ITDC said in a statement.
"Our talented team of Ashok Travels and Tours will put their best foot forward to meet the expectations of CGDA," ITDC Chairperson Managing Director (CMD) Ravneet Kaur said.
ATT is a Ministry of Finance (MoF) authorised travel agency for booking of air tickets for government officials.
ITDC, a public sector undertaking under the aegis of Ministry of Tourism, is in the business of hotels, ticketing, tours and travels, event management and duty-free shopping, among others.
