Real-time strategy game StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm is getting a major new update. With the update, developer Blizzard hopes to make the game more appealing to the eSports community. The update adds a number of new features to the spectating options in the game. Other than that, the update mostly deals with tweaks, bug fixes and minor changes to units and races in the game. The company has released a video that showcases some of these changes. Check it out:

An improved spectator mode means a better spectator-centric game
Other than this, Blizzard has also made the seek bar on replays more functional. Players can now easily find specific moments in multiplayer matches without having seen the whole thing once. The company has also added a colourblind mode that relies less on colours to convey information.
The patch will be automatically downloaded the next time you start up StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm and bumps up the game’s version number to 2.0.10. StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm was released back in March. If you want to know whether the game is any good, check out our review (hint: it’s really good).
Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
