Sony Xperia X, Xperia XA smartphone registrations open in India

Launched at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Sony's much-awaited Xperia X Series of smartphones are finally arriving in India. Sony India has opened up a registrations page for the Xperia X and the Xperia XA that will keep interested customers in the know about details like availability, launch offers, pricing and more.The pre-registration page opened up at 12:00PM on May 20, so we are expecting the launch of the smartphone to take place soon. So far, Sony has not put out any teasers related to the launch of its new smartphone range and more importantly, its flagship smartphone called the Xperia X Performance as well.While there are no details about pricing just yet, one can expect the smartphones to be priced in the mid-range thanks to the imaging capabilities that they offer. Surprisingly Sony has not opened registrations for this year's flagship smartphone called the Xperia X Performance that will be the successor to the currently available Xperia Z5.You can check out our first impressions of the new Xperia X series including the X performance that will give you a broader look at Sony's new and probably the only range going forward. If recent rumours and leaks are to be believed, Sony is expected to drop the Xperia Z series, Xperia M and C series soon with the newly launched X series holding the fort for its smartphone brand.
