Earlier last week, the Sony Xperia C was listed online by several retailers. Now, the company has officially launched the smartphone in India for a price of Rs 21,490.

The Xperia C sports a large 5-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz MTK6589 quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM. The dual SIM phone runs on Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2 version. It is fuelled by a 2,390 mAh Li-ion battery that promises 10 hours talk time on 2G as well as 3G.Xperia C officially launched in India

Take a quick look at the specs of the Xperia C:
  • 5-inch TFT capacitive qHD display
  • 3G, Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth 4.0
  • GPS with A-GPS
  • 8 megapixel camera, 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera
  • 4GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot

The camera supports full HD recording and other features such as face detection, sweep panorama, HDR, geo-tagging, smile shutter and more. Measuring 74.15 x 141.5 x 8.88 mm, the Xperia C tips the scale at 153 grams.

Last week we saw Flipkart selling it for Rs 20,460, maybe owing to the festive season, the e-retailer is now selling the Xperia C for Rs 18, 341. Similarly, Saholic and Infibeam are now selling the smartphone for  Rs 19,199 and Rs 19,699 respectively.
