Snapseed version 2.0 adds more filters, non destructive editing and more features

Google owned Snapseed photo-editing app just got a major facelift with version 2.0. In the new version, which will start rolling out for Android and iOS users, the app has not just added a boatload of new features, but also redone the Snapseed Logo.The new app will have features such as more filters, newer tools, non-destructive editing and copy and paste option for edits. Among the new tools, you have Lens Blur, Tonal Contrast, Intelligent Perspective, Transform and Spot Healing. You can also selectively apply filters and effects to certain areas of your photographs with the Brush tool.[caption id="attachment_262762" align="aligncenter" width="640"] Selective editing features on the Snapseed 2.0. Image: Nils Kokemohr, Google+[/caption]On the non-destructive editing front, a feature seen mostly on high end desktop image editing software, Snapseed comes with the Stacks feature. This lets you re-edit or undo the changes made to a particular photograph during any stage of post processing. You can also copy edits from one image to the other.In a post on Google+, Nils Kokemohr says, "We’ve updated the app in many ways while staying true to our mission of helping everyone easily create extraordinary images."You can edit images shot not just on your phone, but also from DSLRs or compact digital cameras.
