Smartron and Sachin Tendulkar launch the srt.phone, it's priced at Rs 12,999
The srt.phone is the third product from Indian technology and IoT startup Smartron.

The first Sachin Tendulkar branded smartphone from Indian technology brand Smartron was launched today in India. Called the srt.phone, the handset was unveiled by the former cricket star and brand ambassador. It's price starts at Rs 12,999.The Smartron srt.phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with a 401 ppi and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, it comes in two fixed-storage configurations, 32 GB and 64 GB. Both the variants come with 4 GB of RAM. Smartron is also offering unlimited cloud storage with its tronx platform.As for the cameras, there is a 13 MP unit at the back with phase detection auto focus, f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. On the front there is a 5 MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The handset comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a stock Android UI along with Microsoft Office apps.The battery is rated at 3,000 mAh and comes with Quick Charge 2.0 support via the USB Type-C port.The handset is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 32 GB variant while the 64 GB variant is priced at Rs 13,999. The handset will be available via Flipkart and will be offered with special limited edition Sachin Tendulkar covers.
