Sharp reportedly kicks off production of iPhone 5S displays

Production on the iPhone 5S is said to be starting. According to AppleInsider, Sharp is going to start using its Kameyama Plant No. 1 to start manufacturing LCDs for the next iteration of the iPhone.
Reports also state that a company that combines the display arms of Sony, Hitachi and Toshiba, along with LG Display - Japan Display - is also getting orders. Mass production for these orders are already said to be under way.

Back in April, leaks revealed that the iPhone 5S will be featuring a new processor dubbed the A7. The A7 processor is expected to compete with Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa CPU, which will be featured in some variants of the Galaxy S4.
As for the rest of the hardware specs, the report says the iPhone 5S will supposedly have the Power SGX554MP4 GPU. It will also have a dual-channel 2 GB LPDDR-800 of RAM. Of course, it must be noted that the specs revealed by the source are only bits of rumour at this point.
