Sennheiser and Adidas launch new range of headphones

Sennheiser Electronics India has announced the launch of two new street wear models for consumers and one premium DJ headphones, in collaboration with Adidas Originals. Sennheiser’s collaboration with Adidas Originals builds on the earlier Sennheiser HD 25, HD 220 and CX 310 headphones.

The HD 218 closed-back on-ear headphones and the CX 300 ear-canal headphones, as well as the new Adidas versions (HD 220 and CX 310) have a blue tone. According to Sennheiser, the HD 220 headphones by Adidas Originals are ideal for everyday use, featuring bass-driven stereo sound and more comfort. Compared to that, the Sennheiser CX 310 by Adidas Originals offer a dynamic sound with great clarity across both high and low ends, while various-sized ear adapters allow for better fit and reduction of ambient noise. According to the company, the headphones handle a high sound pressure level, with clear highs and crisp basses and are aptly suited towards mobile music requirements.

The products will be available across major retail stores across the country. The models have been priced at Rs.3,490 for the HD 220 Originals and the CX 310 and Rs.16,990 for the HD 25 Originals. The headphones do look quite classy, but, at that price do you think these are worth a buy?
