Seagate breaks through the 4TB barrier
The last high capacity drives we’d seen were the 3TB drives. Along with them came some compatibility issues. Now that those issues are behind us, Seagate has gone one step further and released the largest single storage drive - a 4 terabyte one.
3TB wasn't large enough!
With an external drive out in the market, it’s only a matter of time before internal drives with similar capacities make their way to the market. Hopefully, the internal 3.5-inch drives will be available at prices under Rs. 10,000, when they make their way into the market. Prices of other 3TB and lower capacity drives should also see some correction in the weeks to come, once the drives hit the market.
